By the end of this course you will be able to treat many common childhood conditions with Chinese Medicine.

You will know exactly how to help your child when they have a fever, a stomach ache, a cold, trouble sleeping, nightmares, allergies, skin conditions, anxiety, hyperactivity, pain, and more. You will know how to use basic acupressure, cupping, gua sha, tuning forks, herbal medicine, and stones. And you will understand the medicine well enough that these tools are truly yours, not just steps to follow, but a foundation you carry for the rest of your life as a parent.

What’s Inside

This course is built module by module around the most common childhood conditions. These are what I treat in my clinic all the time because most kids will experience most of these discomforts at some point in their childhood. I want you to know exactly how to help them at home.

Before we get to treatments, I teach you how to think in Chinese medicine: the true causes of disease, how to read your child’s body through the lens of yin and yang, qi and blood, and the five elements. I also cover diet and lifestyle recommendations thoroughly, because what your child eats and how they live is medicine in itself.

And then we get to the part you came here for. Here is what I teach you how to treat:

  • Qi Boost
  • Colic
  • Digestive Distress
  • Fever
  • Colds
  • Insomnia
  • Nightmares
  • Seasonal Allergies
  • Skin Conditions
  • Anxiety
  • Inattention and Hyperactivity
  • Pain
  • Vaccination Support
Each module includes acupressure, tui na massage, gua sha, cupping, tuning forks, gem and stone therapy, herbal recommendations, and dietary guidance.

Learn what each treatment is built to support.

01 Qi Boost

This is a simple, core treatment to build your child’s qi to keep them healthy in all the ways. You will learn the difference between the qi we are born with and the qi we make every day from food and breath, and how to build “true qi,” the refined energy that circulates in the channels, nourishes every organ, powers the immune system, and keeps your child calm, centered, and resilient. When this is strong, your child has beautiful nutritive energy running through their core and a protective field around them. This is your maintenance treatment. Everything else builds from here.

02 Colic

So many babies are prone to gas, constipation, reflux, and colic. Their digestive organs are inherently immature and they are adapting to a bright, cold world full of gravity. We have to help their qi find its way. I will teach you tui na techniques you can do while you are already holding your baby, massaging the spine, the palms, and the abdomen to harmonize and descend qi, move food stagnation, and warm trapped cold. Together we can make your baby much more comfortable and you can shower every new mother!

03 Digestive Distress

At some point, every child gets a belly ache so this treatment alone is worth the course. If it’s chronic you can do this daily and will see incredible results. I’ll show you how to optimize digestion and move stagnant qi. I will teach you how to roll the spine, knead the abdomen, and use specific stomach channel points to get things moving immediately. It just takes minutes to get rid of stomach pains.

04 Fever

This is one of the most important modules I will ever teach you because a fever is an incredible opportunity to vent pathogens. A fever is also what frightens parents most. A fever is the immune system turned on high so it can burn up a pathogen. When we suppress a fever, we suppress the immune response along with it and can push pathogens deeper into the body where they will linger. In this module I will teach you how to help the body vent heat outward so your child is more comfortable and less inflamed, while their immune system can still do its job. It’s incredibly empowering to do a few tricks on your child’s body and watch the temperature decrease immediately! I don’t want you panicking, I want you knowing exactly what to do.

05 Colds

You will learn how external pathogens, what Chinese medicine calls wind, cold, heat, and damp, enter the body and what to do the moment you feel something coming on. Gua sha on the neck and back at the first sign of a cold is one of the easiest and most powerful tools in this course. I will also teach you how to treat the face, clear phlegm and heat, and address the cough so you can nip it before it settles in. I’ll share my favorite pediatric herbs to take the moment any signs come on so it never turns into anything but a little stuffy nose.

06 Insomnia

When we go to sleep at night, the qi from the exterior moves toward the core to rest and regenerate. Our blood is the anchor for our spirit at night. When children have trouble sleeping, there is almost always some blood deficiency. The spirit has no cushy bed to rest in. I will teach you how to nourish that blood, calm the shen (mind-spirit), and build a simple nighttime routine using acupressure, tui na on the forearm and scalp, and adjustments that actually help your child (and you) settle, stay asleep, and wake restored. You’re welcome!

07 Anxiety

Anxiety can come from a number of disharmonies, but all anxious children benefit from teaching the heart and kidneys how to communicate again. The heart holds joy. The kidneys hold faith and security. When they lose their connection, anxiety moves in. Think of it as couples communication therapy for two organs that have forgotten how to dance. I will teach you the specific points and tui na to restore that conversation and anchor the spirit back into the body. What a gift we can give these children by stopping this potential cascade of anxiety into their adulthood.

08 Inattention and Hyperactivity

ADHD is a symptom, not a disease. It is usually a pattern of deficient yin and excess yang, heat rising to the head with nothing to anchor it. I differentiate the daydreamer type, floating away because there is no anchor, or the hyperactive type, overwhelmed by heat and unable to settle. The treatments are slightly different but easy to combine for the child with both manifestations. This is one of the most common conditions I treat in my office and I know how much families can suffer from the outbursts and power struggles that the lack of anchor can bring to a child’s spirit. This will help so much!

09 Pain

Pain is simply stagnation of qi and blood. I’ll show you simple ways to move that so the body can be free again. Children heal so quickly, but we can help move things along with acupressure, instead of just freezing it with ice that drives pathology deeper. I’ll show you an herbal oil, a stone, and acupressure seeds that keep qi flowing while the body is healing.

10 Vaccination Support

This module is non-judgmental and grounded in empowerment, not fear. Whatever you decide about vaccines, this module gives you the tools to prepare your child’s body before vaccination and support their recovery after. I will explain what happens in the body from a Chinese medicine perspective and give you a specific protocol to keep your child as balanced and strong as possible throughout the process.

The Tools You Will Use

Across every module you will be working with acupressure, tui na pediatric massage, gua sha, cupping, tuning forks, vaccaria seeds, Chinese herbal formulas, dietary therapy, and gem and stone medicine. I will show you how to use each one and you will find your favorites. My daughter once handed me a metal s’more roaster at a party because her belly hurt. Chinese medicine is a medical art and it is meant to be played with.

Allison E., Mom of 4

Megan’s course taught us so many helpful techniques and strategies including acupressure, spoon scraping, cupping, tuning fork therapy, and various herbs. My daughter has struggled with coughing her entire life and these treatments have truly been a lifesaver for us. Now when she does get sick, the cough is so much less and she heals so much faster. I feel so much better supporting her body with Eastern medicine rather than simply suppressing symptoms. Megan’s teachings have truly been such a blessing to our lives.

Megan’s techniques have helped our daughter tremendously. The acupressure points and protocols we do at home aid her digestion, drain her sinuses and ears when sick, help her anxiety and assist with seasonal transitions and sleep. She introduced us to gua sha, a technique that can nip a cold in the bud if done right at the start of sickness. We have used these techniques and many others since our daughter was a baby and continue to use these now into early adolescence. Megan provides us with easy, go-to protocols that can be used by anyone!

Megan teaches with a calm, soothing nature and makes things so clear. My 10 year old son had a difficult time sleeping for his entire life and was always scared at night so we tried this course. We used both acupressure and cupping and he was sleeping peacefully through the night right away! I am extremely grateful for Megan’s course!

Tatum V.

Both of my children have experienced the beauty and benefits of Chinese medicine since before they were born. Over the years, Chinese medicine has become an invaluable part of how we support our family’s health and well-being. One of the greatest gifts has been learning practical techniques I can confidently use at home, from acupressure points to herbal remedies, thanks to Megan and her team. As a busy mom who values a holistic approach and is always looking for natural solutions to support my family’s health, Chinese medicine has become my first line of defense for keeping our bodies healthy and resilient. Megan’s course teaches parents how to understand and support the body’s natural ability to heal. It has been such a blessing for our family, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for safe, effective, and natural ways to raise healthy, happy children.

The fever comes, and you stay calm.

The nightmare wakes your child and you know which points to hold. The stomach aches and you know exactly where to massage. Instead of suppressing symptoms, you help the body vent and harmonize, the way it is designed to.

That is what Little Qi gives you.
